Aztelekom Ltd., the state communications operator of Azerbaijan, and Beltelecom, the national telecommunications operator of Belarus, are establishing joint cooperation in a closer format, the Azerbaijani company told Trend.
Relevant talks were held in Minsk at the TIBO 2018 EXPO, held May 14-18, the company said.
"Several meetings were held with the Belarus companies, particularly with the state operator Beltelecom, with which we eye the possibility of continuing cooperation in a closer format. The cooperation with Beltelecom will be strengthened. Aztelekom has projects that can be further realized together with the Belarus side," the company said.
In general, the Belarus companies are keen to cooperate with Azerbaijan, Aztelekom said, further noting that the Azerbaijani side will develop these relations.
