The Microsoft Azerbaijan's team is always ready to share international experience and knowledge in the implementation of projects in our country, Gachai Mirzayev, CEO of the company, told Trend.
According to Mirzayev, the Smart City project, implemented in Azerbaijan, is a complex solution consisting of the integration of business and industrial Internet of Things (loT), big data visualization, artificial intelligence, cyber security, automation, mobile applications and others, aimed at reducing costs, helping with more efficient utilization of city services (parking, lighting, advertising sites), the ability to work remotely with government systems, Government-to-government collaboration and secure service delivery, helping city residents gain new insights by collecting unused data from connected devices, resources and sensors (which route to take, where to dine, where to park).
"Smart City allows to use an ecosystem of solutions from Microsoft partners to optimize the system of public services, water and electricity supply to cities, construction and planning, transport systems, public safety. In addition, the technological solutions of the project can be used to develop tourism infrastructure, education, healthcare," the CEO noted.
He pointed out that the project includes 'cloud' services, devices and software for work, platforms for processing large amounts of data. These innovations will allow government agencies, businesses and city residents to freely exchange important information.
"Microsoft is the undisputed leader in cloud solutions. For example, Microsoft Azure has everything necessary to create the next great solution. When building solutions in Microsoft Azure, you don't have to choose between quantity and quality. Compared to other vendors, Azure has a large number of regions with data processing centers and the widest portfolio of certificates of conformity, as well as strict adherence to the principles of environmental responsibility, " added Mirzayev.
