BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Samsung smartphones and mobile phones kept their heads above water in Azerbaijan throughout August 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the statistical center Global Stats indicates that Samsung devices grabbed a slice of the pie with a market share of 29.27 percent, but it seems they've taken a bit of a hit, dropping 3.35 percent from last month.
Xiaomi, the Chinese giant, snagged the silver medal with its
mobile devices holding 22.45 percent of the market, but it’s clear
they’ve taken a hit, dropping by 4.93 percent.
Apple has climbed the ranks, now sitting pretty in third place for
smartphone popularity, with a nice little bump of 2.68 percentage
points in the domestic market, bringing their share to 17.06
percent.
In the meantime, Huawei's market presence ticked up a notch by 1.65
percent, which is a smidgen of 0.05 percentage points more than the
month before.
Moreover, the slice of the pie for other mobile devices in
Azerbaijan hit 29.57 percent.
