Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Almazbek Atambayev to visit Kazakhstan

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev to visit Kazakhstan in May, KyrTAG reported quoting the press-service of Kyrgyz president.

It is reported that Nursultan Nazarbayev and Almazbek Atambayev met in Moscow following a meeting of the EurAsEC Interstate Council.

"A need to further enhance bilateral cooperation was stated during the meeting. Kazakhstani side noted with satisfaction the existing dynamics of bilateral relations," - said in a statement.

In particular, Nazarbayev invited Almazbek Atambayev to Kazakhstan with an official visit in May this year.

"Prior to Atanbayev's official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan sides decided to hold a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Council on Heads of Government level in April this year," - the report indicates.

Atambayev accepted the invitation and noted that the peoples of both countries attributed the deep historical roots.

In turn, Kyrgyz president invited Nursultan Nazarbayev to attend the upcoming summit of the Council of the Turkic-speaking states, which will be held in August this year.

At the invitation of Atambayev Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan this summer, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
