BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. The airlines of Tajikistan are exempt from paying taxes, it follows from the changes made to the Tax Code of Tajikistan, Trend reports with reference to khovar.tj.
The Parliament of Tajikistan has amended the Tax Code in order to provide state support for civil aviation. According to these changes, domestic companies are exempt from income tax from leasing aircraft, helicopters and engines, maintaining and repairing aircraft.
The import of fuel, chemical liquids, and lubricants for aircraft and helicopters, import of airships, engines directly by domestic airlines are also exempt from value added tax.
In addition, non-resident companies that provide leasing services for domestic airlines in Tajikistan may not pay taxes. The term for the implementation of exemption is set until 2027.
