TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 17. The US C&N Associates plans to build a smart city in Uzbekistan's Nurafshan, Trend reports.

According to the administration of the Tashkent region, the smart city is expected to be built on a territory of 1,600 hectares.

The company also proposed to attract more than 15 investors to this project with a total cost of $10-15 billion for the construction of a plant for the production of building materials based on cheap and high-quality local raw materials.

On the territory of the smart city, it is planned to establish state enterprise and organizations, medical, and educational institutions, and, at the same time, industrial zones, technoparks, and thus the possibility of creating new jobs.

Moreover, C&N Associates planned to arrange the operation of a high-speed train linking the administrative center of the Tashkent region with the city of Tashkent.

At the end of the meeting, the sides decided to adopt a memorandum on the discussed issues of cooperation.

The C&N Associates is engaged in the construction of new airports, hotels, universities, trade and service facilities, as well as new cities in the most developed countries of the world for more than 40 years.
