BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan increased by 21.9 percent in value and 14.8 percent in weight in the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through February 18, 2025) compared to the same period last year (from March 21, 2023, through February 19, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Customs Administration's statistics indicates that the country's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan during this period amounted to approximately $368 million, totaling 516,000 tons.
The statistics also reveal that, during the same period last year, Iran exported non-oil products worth around $302 million and weighing 449,000 tons to Uzbekistan.
The main products Iran exported to Uzbekistan included dairy products, petrochemical goods, various types of pipes, glass containers, agricultural equipment, and others.
According to the statistics, the total trade turnover between Iran and Uzbekistan during these eleven months reached about $449 million in value and 553,000 tons in weight, marking an 8.2 percent increase in value and a 5.7 percent increase in weight compared to the previous year.
Iran's Customs Administration data shows that the country's total exports of non-oil products amounted to 141 million tons worth $53.4 billion during 11 months. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 19 percent in value and 12.6 percent in weight.
