BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 1. A total of 81.9 trillion rials (about $142 million) was invested in establishing industrial, mining, and commercial enterprises in Hormozgan Province located in southern Iran in the coming days, the chairperson of the Organization of Industries, Mines, and Trade Organization of Iran's Hormozgan Province, Khalil Ghasemi, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, 25 industrial, mining, and commercial enterprises have been issued licenses to operate in Hormozgan Province for the coming days, with the foundations of four additional facilities set to be laid.
Ghasemi added that the new enterprises will operate across 10 districts of the province, creating jobs for 382 people.
The official noted that the enterprises mainly operate in the production of a range of products, including various types of bitumen, hydrocarbons, and spare parts for marine vehicles, among others.
More than 6,000 industrial enterprises are currently operating in Iran's Hormozgan Province.
