Georgia, Tbilisi, 6 Dec /corr. Trend N.Kirtskhalia / The Georgian experts differently approach the changes in the Government of Georgia made on 5 Dec.
Expert Gia Khukhashvili named 'not serious' and 'unprepared' the decision to make changes to the government. "The government makes changes to the government in a spontaneous manner, does not plan previously," he told Trend .
The expert considers appointment of Grigol Vashadze to the post of the Foreign Minister as a positive step, since he is a "competent man". "However, if the government was going to appoint him, then they had not to send Tkeshelashvili to the ministerial of NATO and OSCE," he said, adding that such changes 'causes feelings of uncertainty' in the international society.
With regards to appointment of Bat Kuteliya as acting
Minister of Defense, Khukhashvili was incomprehensible on what criteria David
Kezerashvili was dismissed from the post of Minister. "If it deals with the
experience, then Kuteliya is not very experienced," he said.
However, appointing Nik Gvaramiya to the post of the Minister of Education and Science
does not require commentaries, Khukhashvili said.
Political scientist Ramaz Sakvarelidze positively assessed staff changes in the Government of Georgia. "These changes indicate that there is serious intention to change the work of government," the expert told Trend . "If these initiatives are made by the Prime Minister, then this speaks of seriousness of his intentions. This is the first case, when changes in the government take a serious character, but are not game," he said.
Sakvarelidze named "serious diplomat" newly appointed Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, as well as new Minister of Culture and Sport, Zurab Abashidze.
It also greeted the fact of appointing Acting Minister of Defense, Bat
Kuteliya.
However, it is incomprehensible for Sakvarelidze that what lawyer Nik Gvaramiya
will do at the post of the Minister of Education and Science.
