Twenty Ecuadorian soldiers were injured in a traffic accident on Monday on a highway to the country's capital Quito, local TV channel Gama reported on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The report said the accident occurred when the soldiers of the Ecuadorian Air Force traveling in the bus were heading for Quito to take part in parachute activities.
"All the 20 soldiers sustained head injuries, 10 of them seriously. They haven been taken to the Military Hospital for treatment," Gama said.
