As many as 2,868 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kazakhstan from January through May 2020, which is 5 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on June 12 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Some 0.62 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation by trucks from Turkey over the reporting period accounted for Kazakhstan," the association said.
According to UND, 283 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kazakhstan in May 2020, which is 58 percent less than in May 2019.
In total, 459,738 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad from January through May 2020, which is 11 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 89,760 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in May 2020, which is 20 percent less compared to May 2019.
