BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 13. Exports of ready-made clothing from Türkiye decreased by 8.3 percent and amounted to $16.4 billion from January through October 2023 year-on-year, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $ 1.5 billion in October of this year, which is 12 percent less than in October last year," the Turkish Ministry of Trade said.
In general, Türkiye has exported ready-made clothing worth $30.3 billion over the past 12 months (from October 2022 through October 2023).
In addition, the total value of ready-made clothing exports by Türkiye abroad decreased by 7.9 percent (to $14.9 billion) from January through September 2023 on an annual basis.
"Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $1.7 million in September 2023, which is 12.8 percent less than in September last year," the ministry said.
