BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. Turkish steel exports to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 23.6 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $1.8 million, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"In June 2024, Türkiye exported steel products worth $204,300 to Kyrgyzstan, which is 2.5 percent less than in the same period last year," the statement of the ministry said.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that Türkiye's steel exports from January through June 2024 increased by 10.6 percent year-on-year to $7.9 billion.
"Türkiye exported steel worth $1.3 billion in June this year, up 0.7 percent year-on-year," the statement from the ministry read.
To note, Türkiye exported $15.6 billion worth of steel over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
