Türkiye's cement exports to Uzbekistan decline

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 27. The export of cement products from Türkiye to Uzbekistan decreased by 20.5 percent in the period from January through October 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $11.4 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.

“In October this year, Türkiye exported cement products worth $765,000 to Uzbekistan, which is 68.9 percent less than in October last year," the information reads.

Türkiye's cement exports to world markets in the period from January through October 2024 decreased by 7 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to 3.6 billion dollars.

“Türkiye exported $365 million worth of cement in October this year, up 0.5 percent year-on-year,” the statement of the ministry read.

To note, Türkiye exported cement worth $4.3 billion during the last 12 months (from October 2023 through October 2024).
