BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 14. Türkiye's exports of cement products to Iran decreased 38.5 percent year-on-year to almost $13.5 million from January through December 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
Turkey exported over $1.8 million worth of cement products to Iran in December of this year, up by 6.1 percent compared to the same month in 2023.
In the interim, Türkiye's outbound shipments of cement commodities to international markets experienced a contraction of 6.2 percent, totaling $4.3 billion during the reporting period of 2024, relative to the corresponding timeframe last year.
However, the country exported $341.2 million worth of cement products abroad this December, which was 3 percent less than last December.
Türkiye's total export of cement products amounted to $4.3 billion in the last 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024).
