BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 15. The export value of ready-made garments from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan took a nosedive in 2024 compared to 2023.
Data obtained by Trend from the Turkish Trade Ministry shows that this figure totaled $180.6 million, down 29.7 percent from the previous year.
Last December, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $2.9 million to Kyrgyzstan, which is 29 percent less than in December 2023.
To note, Türkiye's overall exports of ready-made garments decreased 6.9 percent year-on-year to $17.9 billion in 2024.
In December of the preceding year, this metric registered at
$1.2 billion, reflecting a decrement of 12.9 percent relative to
the corresponding month in the prior year.
In the preceding 12-month period, spanning from December 2023
through December 2024, Türkiye achieved a remarkable export volume
in the ready-made garments sector, totaling an impressive $17.9
billion.
