BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 21. The export value of ready-made garments from Türkiye to Egypt decreased in 2024 compared to 2023.
Data obtained by Trend from the Turkish Trade Ministry shows that this figure totaled $68.35 million, down 14.2 percent from 2023.
Last December, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $5.25 million to Egypt, which is 41.5 percent less year on year.
To note, Türkiye's overall exports of ready-made garments decreased 6.9 percent year-on-year to $17.9 billion in 2024.
In December last year, this indicator amounted to $1.2 billion, down 12.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $17.9 billion from December 2023 through December 2024.
