An Israeli MP Sofa Langver has initiated the opening of the Azerbaijan Embassy in Israel. The Israeli MP has told journalists that it will give an impetus to accelerate and expand relations between the two countries, Trend reports.
Economic and political spheres are developing, in relations between the two countries. The opening of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Israel will strengthen the cooperation between the both countries in these fields, she said.
An Israeli delegation have visited Baku with the aim to participate in the fifth sitting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the organization for the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, as well as in the 28th sitting of the Permanent Committee of the Organization.
Tomorrow, the Israeli guests are expected to hold a meeting with Azerbaijani Speaker Ogtay Asadov. According to Mrs. Langber, during this meeting, a possibility on forming the Friendship League between Azerbaijan and Israel is expected to be discussed. The Israel guests are also expected to present an official invitation to the Azerbaijani speaker to pay a visit to Israel. The agenda of the visit of the Israeli guest includes a meeting with Nazim Ibrahimov, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad.
