Presidential administration's official: Preparation of administrative judges launched in Azerbaijan

The process of preparing the administrative judges has been launched in Azerbaijan, head of the Azerbaijani presidential administration's department for work with law-enforcement agencies Fuad Alasgarov said on Friday at an international conference "Actual problems of building the legal state, judicial training and development of legal science in Azerbaijan".

"The law "Administrative execution" and the Administrative Procedure Code will come into legal force September 1, 2010. Important work is conducted to prepare the judiciary courts, which will consider administrative disputes. We provide trainings for judges, who will work in these courts, " Alasgarov said.

He said that the courts, which will consider economic disputes, will be created on the basis of the regional economic courts. They will be renamed into the courts of Economic and Administrative Disputes.

The appellate courts will operate as the court of second instance on these disputes, as the appeal court - College of Administrative and Economic Disputes, to be created in the Supreme Court.

Alasgarov said that the law on "Administrative execution" and the Administrative Procedure Code, which replaced the numerous statutes regulating the relationship between citizens and the state in administrative and legal developments, provide a more accurate application of the rights of citizens in the administrative execution, simplify and improve productivity of the administration .

Seven regional economic courts - Baku court No 1 and No 2, Shirvan's court, Ganja's court, Sheki's court, Sumgayit local economy court and the Economic Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic operate in Azerbaijan.
