The creation of a land route between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan can attract Nakhchivan to the international transit projects, Expert of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Amina Bayramova said in an interview with Trend .
The expert added that the opening of the Zangazur corridor and linking it with the transport infrastructure which is under construction means the establishment of direct land routes with Nakhchivan.
“As a result of the new transport and logistics infrastructure, Nakhchivan, using the country's unified transport network, will be able to export its products to other districts of Azerbaijan, as well as to the Asian countries, on more favorable terms,” Bayramova said.
The expert said that all these processes will contribute to the acceleration of the economic growth and development of Nakhchivan, an increase in the volume of exported products, as well as attracting additional investments due to the growth of export.
