BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 25. Azerbaijan achieved an export volume of 68,300 tons of processed or clinker cement, resulting in a revenue generation of $4.25 million in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that the cement exports grew by 6,300 tons (10.2 percent) in volume and by $750,000 (21.4 percent) in value compared to the same month last year (62,000 tons worth $3.5 million).
To note, in January of this fiscal year, the production metrics for concrete in Azerbaijan reached an impressive 355,400 tons, reflecting a year-over-year increase of 17,100 tons, equating to a growth rate of five percent. As of the first of February in the year 2025, the inventory of completed goods within the national market stood at a total of 5,800 metric tons.
