BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Iran’s non-oil exports to Uzbekistan surge by 57.4 percent in value and 76.4 percent in volume during the five months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through August 22, 2025), marking a sharp rise compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through August 21, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Customs Administration (IRICA) indicates that the country exported around $236 million worth of nearly 399,000 tons of non-oil goods to Uzbekistan during the reporting period (226,000 tons, worth $150 million).
The statistics add that the main exported items included dairy products, petrochemicals, various types of pipes, glass containers, agricultural equipment, and other goods.
The IRICA also reported that Iran’s total trade with Uzbekistan in the first five months reached about $274 million and 424,000 tons, reflecting a growth of 50.3 percent in value and 77.2 percent in volume year-on-year.
Iran exported $20.9 billion worth of 61.3 million tons of non-oil products worldwide in the same five months. Compared to last year, this represented a 6 percent decline in value but a slight increase of 0.7 percent in volume.
