Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / The Azerbaijan State Customs Committee (SCC) refuses to extend the list including licensed customs brokers, which for the time being are 9 in Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the SCC, Aydin Aliyev, said.
"The number of the companies and experts providing customs brokerage services is enough for today," Aliyev said. In his opinion, authorizing of companies is a very complicated procedure, as for establishment of a customs brokerage company its experts have to take studies and be fully informed of commodity nomenclature and foreign economic activities. Then an organization including these customs experts applies for a license".
A customs broker fulfils a full range of transport and customs services, as well as export-import foreign economic operations.
