Uzbekistan has reduced energy resource and oil product exports by 6.6 percent in 2011 compared to 2010, the State Statistics Committee said.
Their share was 18.5 percent of the country's total exports last year.
The country increased its energy and oil product imports by 29.3 percent and their share in imports reached 8.1 percent.
The share of cotton fiber exports was nine percent of the total, while raw cotton exports fell by 14.7 percent.
In 2011, Uzbekistan increased food product exports by 57.9 percent.
The share of the total was 13.2 percent, including consumer goods, chemical product, non-ferrous metals, machinery and equipment and services.
Other exports increased by 15.9 percent to 27.8 percent of the total.
About 41.3 percent of the imports fell to machinery and equipment, while imports last year increased by 7.7 percent.
