The budget of Kazakhstan's Almaty city received 422.6 billion tenge at the end of 9 months of 2018, which is an over-fulfillment of the plan by 52.9 billion tenge, head of the Almaty Finance Department Ainur Kudaibergenova said, Kazakh media outlets reported.
"If we compare with the planned figures, we have an over-fulfillment of 14 percent. The main sources of revenues to the budget of Almaty are individual income and social taxes, which account for 82 percent of the city’s total tax revenues," she said.
The head of department added that the amount of non-tax revenues for 9 months of 2018 made up 8.5 billion tenge instead of the planned 4 billion tenge. These revenues are mainly formed from administrative fines, Kudaibergenova noted.
Speaking about the expenditure side of the Almaty budget, she said that the total budget spending amounted to 99.9 percent.
“In general, we can say that compared to last year, we have a good budget spending this year, and we fit into the planned framework,” the head of department said.
