BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 21. Azerbaijan exported over 256,400 tons of oil and oil products to Tunisia from January through July 2024, accounting for 1.74 percent of the country’s total raw material exports, Trend reports.
Data from Azerbaijan's State Customs Service indicates that throughout this period, the value of these shipments to Tunisia exceeded $163.897 million.
In 2023, Azerbaijan exported a whopping 26.024 million tons of oil and oil products, making it a 0.09 percent increase compared to the previous year's haul of 26.047 million tons.
Oil exports were valued at more than $16.24 billion, down 16.64 percent, or $3.242 billion, from the corresponding period in 2022.
