BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 25. The volume of electricity generated at the "Soyugbulag" small hydropower station has been disclosed.
Data obtained by Trend from the Ministry of Energy indicates that since the plant’s commissioning until July 1, the "Soyugbulag" station, which has a total capacity of 5.3 MW and consists of two hydro units with a capacity of 2.65 MW each, has produced 42 million kWh of electricity.
To note, the "Soyugbulag" station, located on the Tartar River in the Kalbajar district, was commissioned on August 25, 2023.
The ministry also noted that small hydropower plants contribute to the generation of environmentally friendly green energy.
