BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Azerbaijan exported 102,300 tons of crude oil and bituminous products to Tunisia from January through August 2025, generating $187 million in revenue.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan
indicates that The export valuation experienced a contraction of
$37.4 million, representing a decrement of 20.7 percent,
concomitantly with a volumetric reduction of 69,700 tons, equating
to a decline of 27.2 percent, in juxtaposition to the analogous
timeframe in 2024 (256,600 tons valued at $163.9 million).
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan engaged in the exportation of
crude oil and petroleum derivatives to a cohort of 20 nations
within the specified timeframe, culminating in a fiscal total of
$8.39 billion and a volumetric output of 15.9 million tons. In
juxtaposition to the preceding fiscal year, the aggregate export
valuation experienced a contraction of $1.91 billion, translating
to a decrement of 18.5 percent, while the volumetric output
diminished by 551,050 tons, equating to a reduction of 3.3
percent.
