Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan’s Navoi signed memorandum aimed at strengthening cooperation with major ministries and associations in the tourism sector in Kazakhstan, Trend reports referring to the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development.
According to the committee, as a result of the visit of the Kazakh delegation to the Navoi region, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the administration of the Navoi region and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, aimed at strengthening cooperation with the main ministries and associations in the field of tourism in Kazakhstan, as well as for the further development of pilgrim tourism in the Navoi region.
It was noted that bilateral agreements on cooperation were reached between large travel companies operating in the Navoi region and Kazakhstan, and memorandums were signed between business entities within the framework of the visit.
It is reported that the purpose of the agreements is to highlight and promote the tourism potential of the Navoi region in the Kazakh media, increase the flow of tourists to the region, establish bilateral cooperation on a regular basis and create the necessary conditions for attracting tourists.
In addition, it is planned to hold a joint event at the highest level and organize an international youth forum in Navoi, which will unite the active youth of the Navoi region and Kazakhstan.
