ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 3. Kazakhstan's Eurasian Bank has received a banking license in Uzbekistan, Trend reports.

Thus, The Central Bank of Uzbekistan decided to register a subsidiary bank of the Eurasian Bank JSC and issue a license for the right to carry out banking activities.

In this regard, the bank expects to open an office and branch of a subsidiary bank in Tashkent this year after solving the necessary procedural and organizational issues.

Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Bank Lyazzat Satiyeva noted that this strategic event opens up new prospects and opportunities.

"We are confident that we will be able to use our experience in the car lending and POS lending market, as well as in other financial services, both in offline and online channels in Uzbekistan," she said.

Meanwhile, the Uzbekistan market is one of the most attractive and promising in Central Asia for the promotion of financial services.

The country has been showing average GDP growth of 5-6 percent for the past few years.
