ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 19. The assets of insurance companies in Kazakhstan have increased by nine percent since the beginning of the year, reaching $5.6 billion as of August 1, Trend reports.

This July, the sector's net profit amounted to $32 million, and since the start of the year, it has reached $233.85 million.

During this same period, assets grew by 3.7 percent, indicating stable sector development. The majority of these assets—73.9 percent, or $4.18 billion—are invested in securities, highlighting the sector's strong reliance on financial markets.

Thus, Kazakhstan's insurance sector continues to grow, although it faces challenges such as rising liabilities, requiring enhanced expense control, and maintaining financial stability.
