(Kazakhstan today) - The head of Kazakhstan accepted an invitation to visit South Korea next year. Han Myung-Sook, Prime Minister of South Korea currently visiting Kazakhstan, has stated this at a briefing after her meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev today, September 22, reports Trend.
"The President of the Republic of Korea has invited Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, to visit our country next year. The head of Kazakhstan has received this invitation with gratitude," - she has noted.
"This visit, - according to the Korean PM, - will promote co-operation between our countries."
Han Myung-Sook has also said that at her meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev the sides agreed to develop relations "not only in energy and other resources, but in other areas as well. So our relationship has entered a new level."
A business forum on IT and communications is going to take place in Almaty during the Korean PM visit. "The main idea of the forum is to present the Korean policies in the ICT and to provide information on the current level of IT development in Korea," - the organisers say. Besides, another task of the forum is to strengthen the ties between the businesses of the two countries and opportunities for implementing joint investment programmes.
