BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Chairman of Kyrgyzstan's National Bank Kubanychbek Bokontaev met with the CEO of UAE's Al Maryah Community Bank Mohammed Wassim Khayata, Trend reports citing the bank's press service.
During the meeting, the parties considered the issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE and the exchange of experience in the field of digital financial technologies.
Bokontaev emphasized that the banking sector remains one of the important components in economic development of Kyrgyzstan, which plays a key role in providing financial services and resources for the implementation of projects in priority sectors of the economy.
"Kyrgyzstan is open to new investments and digital technologies for the sustainable and progressive development of not only the banking sector, but the country’s economy as a whole,” he underlined.
