BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 19. Kyrgyzstan shipped out 572,000 tons of coal from January to July 2024, raking in $25 million in revenue.
According to data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the volume of exports declined by 14.5 percent, while the value decreased by 7.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

Overall, Kyrgyzstan imported 81,235 passenger cars from January through July 2024, which is 14 percent more than the 71,005 cars imported during the same period in 2023. The total value of these imports was $1.203 billion, an increase of 6.2 percent compared to the $1.133 billion for the same period last year.
Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover from January through July 2024 amounted to $8.8 billion, which is a 4.7 percent increase year on year. Exports decreased by 3.7 percent to $1.6 billion, while imports increased by 6.7 percent to $7.217 billion.
