Data obtained by Trend from the Global Petrol Prices portal shows that gasoline in Turkmenistan costs $0.429 per liter, placing the nation eighth in terms of low pricing.
Meanwhile, Iran tops the list with a price of $0.029 per liter.
Additionally, the list of countries with the lowest gasoline prices also includes Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Egypt, Algeria, Kuwait, Angola, Venezuela, and Libya.
At the same time, countries like Israel, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Singapore, Denmark, Barbados, Iceland, Monaco, and Hong Kong record the highest gasoline prices. Hong Kong has the highest price at $3.312 per liter.
The average price of AI-95 gasoline in the world is $1.26 per liter as of October 28, 2024. These fluctuations in gasoline prices are largely due to differences in national fuel taxation structures and subsidy policies.
