Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan magnify

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan increased by 14 percent in value and 13.6 percent in weight terms during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period of last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).

The data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administrations shows that Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan amounted to 272,000 tons worth about $183 million during the six months.

However, the statistics noted that Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan amounted to 239,000 tons worth 160 million during six months of last year.

The information adds that Iran mainly exported milk and dairy products, petrochemical products, various types of pipes, glass containers, agricultural equipment, and many others to Uzbekistan.

To note, Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion during the six months of the year. Compared to the same period last year, the export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight.
