Iran reveals export volume of non-oil products via Qom Province customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 25. A total of 146,000 tons of non-oil products worth $139 million were exported via the customs of Qom Province, located in the north of Iran, during nine months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through December 2024), Director General of the Customs Administration of Iran's Qom Province, Esfandiar Darikvandi told reporters, Trend reports.

According to him, non-oil products were exported to 30 countries, including Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan, Russia, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and other countries via Qom Province Customs during the mentioned period.

Derikvandi reported that during the nine months, provincial customs exported 31 different types of products, mostly chemical products, foodstuffs, and household items.

The customs officer noted that Qom provincial officials emphasize that the priority of industrial enterprises is the production of export products. Currently, a large number of products manufactured in Qom Province compete with analogous products in the world markets.

To note, about 2,000 enterprises operate in seven industrial parks in Iran's Qom Province.
