German delegation to visit Tehran to boost economic ties

A delegation from Germany's Bavaria, headed by state economy minister Ilse Aigner, would visit Iran on Sep.3, Deutsche Welle's Persian website reported.

This is the second time in the last ten months that a delegation from Bavaria visits Iran.

According to the report, the agenda of a 3-day visit is negotiations over financial issues and cooperation in auto industry.

A 60-member Iranian trade delegation visited Bavaria in February as well.

According to the latest statistics, released by Iran's Custom Administration, the country's imports from Germany increased by 29.23 percent to $938 million during the five months of current fiscal year, started on March 21.
