BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Türkiye's cement exports to Kyrgyzstan fell by 89.1 percent from January through April 2024 versus the same period last year and amounted to $1.3 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
“Compared to April of last year, Turkish cement exports to Kyrgyzstan were 91.8 percent lower, totaling $559.000,” the ministry stressed.
From January through April 2024, Türkiye's exports of cement products to world markets decreased by 7.9 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $1.4 billion.
“Cement exports from Türkiye fell 9.2 percent year-on-year in April, reaching $339.2 million,” the ministry added.
To note, in the past 12 months (from April 2023 through April 2024), Türkiye exported cement products totaling $4.5 billion abroad.
