Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 February/ corr. Trend K. Ramazanova/ The Prime Minister of Lithuania Gediminas Kirkilas will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan in the second half of April, the ambassador of Lithuania to Azerbaijan Kudzamanas Kyatutis said to Trend.
"The Prime Minister will visit Azerbaijan in April, the exact data of the visit is now being coordinated with Foreign Office of Azerbaijan," the ambassador said.
The most important issues of the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, international and regional economic and transport projects and energy cooperation as well are expected to be discussed during the visit.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied with the Government members of Lithuania and the businessmen of the country. The business forum is expected to be held in Baku with the participation of the representatives of the business circles of both countries.
The Governments of the two countries are developing the draft agreements on the development of the bilateral cooperation which are scheduled to be signed during the forthcoming visit of Lithuanian Prime Minister, the ambassador said. The documents cover all areas including transport, economy and others.
