The NATO summit in Strasbourg and Kell did not focus on the question of Georgia and Ukraine's entrance to North Atlantic alliance in a short time and the idea of membership of these countries does not stand on the agenda, the NATO representative said.

Formerly the Administration of the former U.S. President George Bush Jr. made an attempt to admit both countries to the bloc.

According to many diplomats, from now on the alliance will try to strengthen relations with Russia. Many countries, including Germany, support that the relations between Russia and NATO would be improved soon.

The fact that the question of Ukraine and Georgia's entrance to the alliance was postponed is connected with a number of factors - lack of preparation of these countries for the membership, pragmatic attitude of the new U.S. Administration towards this question, etc. Currently the agenda includes the question of membership of Macedonia to NATO.

U.S. President Barack Obama noted that they with impatience wait Macedonia's entrance to the North Atlantic alliance. He also emphasized that the doors of NATO were open for all those desiring.
