Turkmen Parliamentary Speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva received the credentials of Moldovan ambassador to Turkmenistan Ion Stavila, the Turkmen government said.
According to the information the diplomat said that "it is a great honor for him to represent his country in Turkmenistan, which gained high international prestige with its constructive peaceful foreign policy and openness to the active mutually beneficial dialogue."
At the meeting, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as sports and tourism sphere were named as priority areas for further cooperation.
Also the role of direct inter-parliamentary contacts was highlighted as an integral factor in strengthening the constructive intergovernmental dialogue.
