ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 14. Turkmenistan will use a new complex of 3D digitally controlled geophysical equipment, which will allow for more efficient detection of hydrocarbon resources, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Batyr Amanov, said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, offering President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to strengthen the material and technical base of the geological industry, Trend reports.
“The acquisition by the Turkmengeology State Corporation of a complex of 3D geophysical equipment with digital control capable of functioning in various conditions will allow Turkmen geologists to identify hydrocarbon-rich areas and obtain accurate data," Amanov said.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the Deputy Chairman's proposal and stressed the need to continue work on increasing the rate of hydrocarbon resource identification and modernization of the industry's infrastructure, as well as the provision of specialized equipment to accomplish these goals.
