ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 27. Turkmenistan has prepared a draft law aimed at regulating activities in the field of virtual assets, Trend reports.
The announcement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov during a government meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The draft law "On Virtual Assets" outlines the legal framework for state regulation of the sector. It covers the organization of operations involving virtual assets, including mining, issuance, and public placement, as well as the regulation of service providers in this field.
The proposed legislation is designed to support the integration of digital solutions and stimulate the growth of financial technologies in Turkmenistan.
President Berdimuhamedov reviewed the proposal and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue work on the draft in coordination with the Parliament of Turkmenistan.
Several other state issues were also reviewed during the meeting.
