( dpa ) - Nissan will present its new GT-R, providing exceptional performance in a V-Spec version of some 410 kW/550 hp at the Geneva Motor Show.

Power is transmitted to all four wheels with an advanced all-wheel drive system, via a transaxle mounted dual-clutch, paddle-shift operated gearbox.

Driver adjustable suspension, gearbox and stability control settings can be tuned to individual driver characteristics so that it can be driven both in urban and racetrack conditions.

While the standard GT-R produces 353 kW/480 hp, the top of the range super car is fitted with a twin-turbo 3.8-litre engine with performance boosted by a 150 kilogram weight reduction.

A body kit including side skirts gives the V-Spec maximum downforce at high speeds. The GT-R is set to go on sale in Europe soon after the Geneva show with the official price to be announced in Geneva. It is expected to be around 73,000 euros (107,000 dollars) with the V-Spec version will cost an additional 26,700 euros (39,184 dollars).
