Moldova's government and the World Bank have signed an agreement to grant $10m for the second energy project (the Energy II Project) in Moldova. It is presumed that the loan granted to Moldova will be used to improve heating systems and hot water supply in public medical and educational facilities across 12 cities and towns in Moldova, reported RBC.
The project is the largest one run by the World Bank in the country, worth a total of over $35m. It is aimed at improving the security and reliability of power supply and the availability, quality and efficiency of heating at selected public institutions.
