Real sector confidence index increases in Turkish economy

The real sector confidence index in the Turkish economy increased by 4.6 points in January 2012 compared to the previous month, the report of the Turkish Central Bank published on its website said today.

This means the index increased to 101.8 points. The index increased by 2.5 points in January 2012 compared to the same month last year.

The real sector of economy is represented by several sectors that produce tangible and intangible goods and services, except for financial credit and exchange transactions.

The coefficient of the production capacity characterises the degree of using production capacity. This increased by 0.1 points in the country in January 2012 compared to the same month of last year. The figure hit 74.7 points.

The coefficient of production capacity declined by 0.8 points compared to the previous month.
