Azerbaijan, Baku, May 29 / Trend /
Azerbaijan will not sign CIS Electric Power Council's road map on general market because the country is not participant of CIS agreement on united energy market, Azerenergy JSC vice-president Marlen Askerov said at the 35-th meeting of CIS electric power council held in Baku on May 29.
"There is no need for Azerbaijan to sign this agreement as the country is already ready for creating this market," Askerov said.
Azerbaijan is ready for signing the agreement on monitoring of environment. But there will not be word "market" in the council's decision about road map, Askerov said.
It was suggested holding ecological monitoring in CIS power energy for 2008 during the meeting of power energy council.
Eight members-countries of the council participated in the monitoring on road map realization for 2007. Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia refused from participating in the monitoring. Results of the monitoring have been delivered to "Euro electric".
