The US Epsilon Development Company, together with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company, has completed the construction of the first string of the Nazarkuduk-Shurtanneftegaz gas pipeline in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the company's message.
Work is underway to prepare a new gas pipeline for pneumatic testing. In turn, the laying of gas pipelines of the Tandircha-Shurtanneftegaz and Chigil-Mubarek gas processing plant has begun, read the message.
Over the past day, from December 2-3, 2,400 tons of pipes were shipped, 2.7 km of trenches were dug and 1.3 km were laid. The company said that 6.6 km of pipes were transported to the Tandircha-Shurtanneftegaz and 700 m to the Chigil-Mubarek gas processing plant.
As of December 3 of this year, 26,700 tons of pipes were shipped, 17,300 tons arrived, 52.1 km of trenches were dug, 61.3 km of pipes were welded and 9.9 km were laid.
To provide gas to the population during the autumn-winter period, manufacturing of two main gas pipelines in a double-thread version was launched including Nazarkuduk-Shurtanneftegaz (67 km) and Chigil-Mubarek GPP (110 km).
The main activities of Epsilon Development Company are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons and flare gas and oil; construction of industrial facilities; construction of transport communications.
One of the missions of the company in Uzbekistan is to develop and progress new and sustainable energy projects, which will serve as a catalyst for socio-economic development at both regional and national levels.
In the framework of joint activities, Epsilon has already commenced large-scale exploration within the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana investment blocks.
