Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. I. Khalilova / Seven agreements have been reached between businessmen of Azerbaijan and businessmen representing the Kurgan Oblast (Territory) of Russia. Oleg Bogomolov, the Governor of the Russian Region, has said today that in accordance with the agreement, Azerbaijan is to provide Kurgan Oblast with various agricultural products, including vegetables, fruits, greens, etc.

"We are ready to buy your products. We are also pleased to invite the Azerbaijani party to come to Kurgan Oblast and launch production in our region. I am confident that we can figure out how to implement it since we have quite enough mutual interests," said the Russian Governor.

Yesterday, on 12 April, the Russian guests also visited Sumgayit-based plants and enterprises, where the parties determined intentions to cooperate in the field of oil chemistry pipe rolling.

According to the Russian Governor, the product made in Kurgan Oblast is high-quality, firm, safe, and competitive. The product made by the Russian region is available to the European market, particularly for bridge construction and steel-concrete reinforcements. Buses currently produced can be found on the market all around Russia.

"I think that our buses are in Azerbaijan too, since the Kurgan Motor-Car Works has produced them for a long time. Today, we have come out with the production of new buses to meet the corresponding international requirements. On the whole, our region is currently producing about 5,000 brands of finished commodity, and we are ready in all possible ways to deliver our product to Azerbaijan, as we are eyewitnesses to how Azerbaijan's economy is developing. The country is a large oil producer. Moreover, it produces steel-concrete support reinforcements and chemical equipment," said the Russian Governor.

Due to Azerbaijan's highway construction, Kurgan business may take part in corresponding tenders for bridges, underpasses, and overpasses.

"Therefore, we should know who delivers to whom and what to deliver to them. We want to know when corresponding competitions and tenders will be organized and held so that we may take part in them. We are going to compete on the conditions of normal market mechanisms for orders to be available in Azerbaijan. We are ready to work in your country in these sectors," concluded the Governor.
